Biomechanical assessment

A biomechanical assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of how your body moves, focusing on the mechanics of your lower limbs, particularly the feet and legs. It involves examining your body's structure, joint movement, muscle strength, and how you walk or run (gait analysis). This assessment helps identify the root causes of pain, discomfort, or movement limitations, and can be used to develop personalized treatment plans or training optimization strategies.
Nail surgery

Nail surgery is a procedure to remove all or part of a problematic toenail, often due to ingrown nails or other conditions. The procedure involves numbing the toe with a local anesthetic, then removing the nail or a portion of it. A chemical, usually phenol, is often applied to the nail bed to prevent regrowth.
Medical Pedicure

A medical pedicure, also known as a "medi pedi," is a specialized foot treatment performed by a podiatrist. It focuses on the health and functionality of the feet and nails, rather than just aesthetics, according to health websites. Unlike a traditional salon pedicure, a medical pedicure addresses specific foot and nail conditions like fungal infections, ingrown toenails, calluses, and corns.
Steroid injections

Steroid injections for the feet are a treatment option used to reduce pain and inflammation in the joints and soft tissues of the foot and ankle. They are often used for conditions like osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, and soft tissue problems such as Morton's neuroma or plantar fasciitis. The injections can be used diagnostically to help pinpoint the source of pain or therapeutically to provide pain relief and improve mobility.
Verruca needling

Verruca needling, is a procedure used to treat stubborn verrucae (plantar warts) by stimulating the body's immune response. A sterile needle is used to repeatedly puncture the verruca under local anesthetic, pushing the virus into deeper skin layers where the immune system can recognize and eliminate it.
Custom insoles

Custom insoles, also known as orthotics, are shoe inserts designed to correct foot and ankle alignment, alleviate pain, and improve overall biomechanics. Unlike generic shoe inserts, custom orthotics are individually tailored to a person's unique foot structure and movement patterns, based on a comprehensive assessment.
